The unique design of the Xiaomi 15 Ultra smartphone was shown in a new photo

The presentation of the new flagship Xiaomi 15 Ultra will take place in China at the end of this month. On the eve of this event, more and more information about the features of the device is appearing on the network. Today, a new image of the Xiaomi 15 Ultra was published on Chinese social platforms, the design of which was inspired by Leica cameras. It demonstrates an interesting two-tone design that gives the impression of professional photographic equipment.

The design of the Xiaomi 15 Ultra shown in the image is obviously inspired by the Leica M1 camera. The smartphone has an exquisite silver-black two-tone body, which is presumably made of glass and leather. The device features a large, circular camera module that takes up almost the entire top half of the body. It houses a pill-shaped LED flash, the Leica logo, and four cameras, including a periscope telephoto camera. Considering the powerful 6,000 mAh battery, the device weighs more than 200 grams.

The small text under the Leica branding “LEICA VARIO-SUMMILUX 1:1.63-26/14-100 ASPH” reveals the 15 Ultra's camera capabilities. According to insider Experience More, the flagship is equipped with a Leica Summilux lens with an aperture of f/1.63 on the main camera, like the previous model.

The periscope telephoto camera has an aperture of f/2.6, an equivalent focal length of 100 mm, an effective aperture of f/9.828 and a physical focal length of 26.4 mm. The ultra-wide-angle lens has a focal length of 14 mm, which makes it slightly narrower compared to the previous generation.

The Xiaomi 15 Ultra is expected to be launched on February 28 in China along with the Xiaomi SU7 Ultra.
