The UN continues to prepare lists of Ukrainian children deported by the enemy

The Verkhovna Rada Commissioner for Human Rights Dmytro Lubinets hopes that the UN at least he will try to compile them, writes Ukrinform.
"As of today, I expect an official answer. We hope that such lists will be sent to us, we are waiting for them. I hope that the UN will at least try to do this,” he said.
He recalled that earlier the Russian side had repeatedly stated that more than 700,000 Ukrainian children had been deported, and in this situation it is logical to receive them through the UN lists of these children. At the same time, Lubinets expressed the opinion that the figure named by Russia was exaggerated. However, the Ukrainian authorities do not have access to the temporarily occupied territories, so at this time it is impossible to say how many children live in the temporarily occupied territory and how many have left.
Lubinets emphasized that the state uses various platforms and scenarios to return of all its citizens.
"The problem with everyone is the same – the desire of the Russians to give Ukrainian children, citizens of Ukraine, through various channels of communication. If they do not do it through the UN, we do not currently see that there is a great desire to transmit through other channels,” Lubinets said.
