The UN approved the program of financial support for Ukraine

Vikonavcha Council of the World The UN Food Program (WFP) praised the interim strategic plan for Ukraine for 2025-2027 with a hidden budget of $2.1 billion.

As Prime Minister Denis Shmigal reports, the plan is being passed on humanitarian aid, supporting the population, continuing the process of expansion and supporting the export potential of Ukraine in the delivery of agricultural products to international markets.

WFP operates in Ukraine at the request of the government. In 2022-2024, a number of programs were implemented with direct penny support for Ukrainians who suffered from Russia’s military aggression.

Also, the WFP is also with Ukraine implements the Grain from Ukraine program through the purchase of Ukrainian agricultural products for the region, where there is a food shortage. At the borders of the Grain from Ukraine initiative, 11 ships carrying over 200 thousand tons of agricultural products were sent to Somalia, Ethiopia, Kenya, Yemen, Nigeria, Sudan, Palestine, Malawi, Mozambique and Other countries.
