The Ukrainian military is testing the world's first FPV drone with a grenade launcher

Ukrainian engineers continue to impress with the latest solutions to strengthen the country's defense. Recently, they equipped the FPV drone with an anti-personnel grenade launcher, which significantly expands the possibilities of using drones in combat conditions. Video with fire tests of a new model called Queen Hornets published by the Wild Hornets team.

The Queen Hornets FPV drone is designed to perform long-range combat missions. It can move 5 km away from the operator, which makes it extremely effective in difficult combat conditions. Its tests were carried out by fighters of the “Bulava” unit. brigade named after Bohdan Khmelnytskyi, demonstrating the capabilities of the drone in real conditions.

The main technical characteristics of the drone are impressive. Its carrying capacity is 9.5 kg, which allows you to carry a significant amount of ammunition or other military equipment. At the same time, with a full load, the drone can fly 5 km. If the weight of the payload is reduced to 6 kg, its flight range will increase to 17 km.

Queen Hornets are equipped with the Bulspike-AP anti-personnel grenade launcher, which uses the OG-22M high-explosive fragmentation grenade. This munition is designed to engage enemy infantry in open areas, field shelters, or trenches. In addition, the grenade can destroy lightly armored and unarmored vehicles.

A 2 kg grenade creates more than 1000 fragments when detonated, which significantly increases the effectiveness of hitting enemy forces.

Thanks to their mobility, flight range and powerful weapons, Queen Hornets FPV drones open up new opportunities for the Ukrainian military. The use of such drones can radically change the course of combat operations, especially at long distances from the front line.
