< P > Civic Liberties Observer revealed a program through requests of the Law on Freedom of Information. Based on the documents obtained by the group, Statewatch argued that the program developed its prediction tool based on police data on 100,000 to 500,000 people. Different categories of information provided by the Ministry of Justice also covered delicate topics, such as mental health & Rsquo; I, dependence, suicide and disability. Statewatch researcher Sofia Lillle notes:
< blockquote > < p > Studies again and again show that algorithmic systems & ldquo; forecasting & rdquo; Crimes are inherently disadvantages. This latter model that uses the data of our institutional racist police and the Ministry of Internal Affairs will enhance the structural discrimination underlying the criminal law system.
