The supply of gasoline and gas has increased: what will happen to the queues at Ukrainian gas stations

In June, the supply of gasoline, diesel fuel and autogas in the market increased significantly. This led to a gradual decrease in queues at gas stations in Kyiv.

The supply of gasoline and gas has increased: what will happen to the queues at Ukrainian gas stations

This is reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to Sergey Kuyun, director of the A-95 Consulting Group, on Facebook.

“There are no queues for autogas at all. The only exception is stations where gas is sold at UAH 37/l (mainly UAH 42-45/l),” he wrote.

According to him, several gas stations with diesel fuel were without queues at all or there were 5-10 cars, which is generally difficult to consider as a queue (against the background of the May events). There are 20-30 cars in line for petrol.

the intervention was made by the KLO network – gasoline was available at almost all operating stations. AMIC and UPG make “sally” from time to time. “Marshal” put up on the weekend A – 95 to 62 UAH, there were no queues, but two days later the stele went out again. The same thing happened with “alcohol” gasoline at the Belarusian Republican Youth Union.

As the expert noted, Privat (ANP) has few stations in the capital, but it is one of the most stable sellers of gasoline. “It is interesting that the grid sells the main volumes through its application, as evidenced by the queues at the stations, even if zeros are on there. This growing activity has led to a reduction in pressure on WOG and OKKO, which put the product on the free market daily,” he said.

Kuyun believes this picture fully reflects the situation with the supply. In terms of gas, imports have already exceeded expectations, in terms of diesel fuel the market is slowly reaching the forecast figures, in terms of gasoline it still falls short of 20-25%.

According to his data, in June the number of diesel fuel suppliers increased by one and a half times and reached almost 100, twice less (but a third more than in May) – importers of autogas (45), for gasoline – 27 (21).

“Such a cartel in the fuel market – more than one and a half hundred companies! For gasoline and diesel fuel, the number of importers has doubled compared to pre-war! Each of them today holds the defense on its fuel front,” said Kuyun.
