On the coast of Sicily, an accident occurred and the English sailing superyacht Bayesian, worth 35 million euros, sank, reports Corriere della Sera. There were 22 people on board – 12 passengers and 10 crew members. The passengers were from the United Kingdom, as well as from New Zealand, Sri Lanka and Ireland.

According to the reports of the ANSA agency, some of the passengers were unable to get out of their cabins during the intense storm that sank the yacht.
The first to come to the aid of the passengers and crew were members of the crew of the aircraft under the Dutch ensign. They brought 15 people aboard the ship, who had stumbled near the water, among whom was a single child.
Among the unknown people is the owner of the superyacht Michael Lynch, a 59-year-old multimillionaire and the founder of the IT company Autonomy, who is in people call him “the British Bill Gates”. At the peak of the 2015 growth period, Forbes estimated its income at billions of dollars.
