The US State Department said that the US remains concerned about the situation at the Zaporizhzhya Nuclear Power Plant, which was captured by Russian troops.

He said that military operations should not be conducted in the area of ​​nuclear installations and nuclear facilities.

“We strongly support calls for the demilitarization of the area around the Zaporizhzhya nuclear power plant, including the withdrawal of Russian troops from the plant and their immediate withdrawal from the territory of Ukraine,” – Price noted.
