To blow out his candles, the Simpsons' eldest son surrounded himself with recurring characters that are rarely seen.We then discover a jumble of different endings, with a Bart who refuses to let his life change and the situations of his loved ones evolve. The boy struggles to try to push back this finality, to the point of pushing his father to strangle him. While the series had been forced to make this gimmick disappear, although popular, it is back, as if to come full circle.
This is where Bart realizes that it is actually his 10th birthday. And surprise, nothing changes. The Simpsons will continue to predict the future, make us laugh and smile, and that for a few more years.
