A tribute to the history and legacy of the series, which opens with a Conan O'Brien determined to organize a major event to celebrate the end of the series.Celebrities and former characters are therefore invited, even if the conclusion of the story arcs of many characters are imagined.   • Homer and Marge attend couples therapy and decide to start a new chapter in their lives, this time without the trauma;

  • Lisa wins the Junior Juliard Jazz and MacArthur Under 18 Genius scholarships.

What about Bart in this story? To blow out his candles, the Simpsons' eldest son surrounded himself with recurring characters that are rarely seen.We then discover a jumble of different endings, with a Bart who refuses to let his life change and the situations of his loved ones evolve. The boy struggles to try to push back this finality, to the point of pushing his father to strangle him. While the series had been forced to make this gimmick disappear, although popular, it is back, as if to come full circle.

This is where Bart realizes that it is actually his 10th birthday. And surprise, nothing changes. The Simpsons will continue to predict the future, make us laugh and smile, and that for a few more years. The Simpsons returns this Sunday with “The Yellow Lotus“, in which “The Simpsons brush with death during a vacation in a high-end resort” we learn from the synopsis. Tahiti Bob will be back.
