The National Institute of Aquatic Spaces (INEA), reported through an official statement that the search for the victims of the shipwreck of the THOR vessel registration AGSM-RE-0733, which sailed from Higuerote on 09/3/3 will continue. 2021 heading to La Tortuga.
“All the search operations by land, sea and air of the other missing persons who were on board at the time of the accident are still active, maintaining the search efforts of the sector,” the statement reads.
Through the document shared on the organism’s social networks, it also sends a message of regret to the families of the victims of the tragedy.
The boat left at 9:30 am on September 3, from Higuerote to La Tortuga Island. It was on September 5 at 11 p.m. when the Port Authority of Carenero, Miranda state, had information that the ship had not reached its destination or returned.
