The Security Service of Ukraine informed about the suspicion of the blogger Victoria Kokhanovskaya, who provoked clashes and religious enmity during mass actions in the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra. The press service of the SBU reported this.

According to the report,  the pro-Russian propagandist publicly denied the armed aggression of the Russian Federation and provoked religious hatred. The female figure took an active part in the provocations on the territory of the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra at the end of March and the beginning of April 2023.

Then she “dispersed” her own video streams on social networks, in which she incited people to oppose the lawful actions of law enforcement officers and offended the religious feelings of Ukrainians. In addition, on its own page on “Facebook” the defendant denied the facts of Russian armed aggression and called the war in Ukraine an “internal civil conflict”.

She also posted her own pseudo-predictions on the social network about the “inevitability” of seizure of the entire territory of our country and tried to discredit Ukrainian defenders. Destructive content was picked up by Russian TV channels and Internet resources, which presented distorted information as the position of ordinary citizens of Ukraine.

Linguistic expertise initiated by the SBU confirmed the facts of subversive activities of the accused in favor of the aggressor country.

Under during the search of the perpetrator's place of residence in Kyiv, computer equipment was found, which she used in criminal acts.

Based on the collected evidence, the investigators of the Security Service informed her of suspicion under part 2 of Art. 436-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (production, distribution of materials containing denial of the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine expressed in the presentation of it as an internal civil conflict).

In addition, the issue of additional qualification of criminal actions of the accused and the selection of a preventive measure for her.

The investigation is ongoing to establish all the circumstances of the crime. The perpetrator faces imprisonment with confiscation of property.
