The Russians will get on the water as well: the Ukrainian army uses an amphibious all-terrain vehicle

All-terrain vehicles are very useful in war — they can perform combat tasks on various surfaces. The Ukrainian amphibious all-terrain vehicle “Taha” was recently approved for use in units of the Armed Forces.

This is reported on the website of the Ministry of Defense. The machine is already used by the Ukrainian military. His task — evacuation, transportation of ammunition and food, where others will not pass. And this is a wide range of terrain: swamps, marshes, loose soil, deep snow, the all-terrain vehicle is even able to leave the water on the ice.

Characteristics of the amphibious all-terrain vehicle “TAHA”:

  • Height of obstacles — over a meter
  • Carrying capacity — up to 1 ton of cargo or up to 10 passengers
  • Speed ​​(dryer) — 40 km/h, on water — up to 6 km/h.

The all-terrain vehicle has more than one fuel tank — it is able to work on one gas station for more than two days. Total  duration  of autonomous work — 65 hours if you drive continuously — 19 hours.

There are several variants of “TAHA”:

  • with cargo module — can pull up to 2400 kg,
  • with a passenger module — up to 22 people in total,
  • “Taha” convertible — for installation of combat modules, which has a carrying capacity of 1300 kg,
  • “TAHA UGV” — the unmanned version, which can be controlled at a distance of up to 3.5 km, can load 1900 kg, it will work for up to 4 hours, it travels at a similar speed on water, but on land it is twice as slow — up to 20 km/h.
