The Russian Gerbera drone was neutralized in Sumy Oblast

Residents of Sumy Oblast discovered an unmanned aerial vehicle in an open area and reported it to the police. Explosive experts immediately went to the scene.

As it turned out, it was a Russian Gerbera drone, which can be used as a strike, reconnaissance or to create obstacles. Fortunately, the detected drone did not pose an immediate threat.

“Although this particular drone was safe, it is worth remembering that enemies often equip their UAVs with explosive devices. So if you find a suspicious object, especially in the open area, under no circumstances try to investigate or move it yourself. Call 102 and report the find,” warns Ihor Chernyak, head of the explosives department of the Sumy region police.
