On Saturday, May 25, two military helicopters of the Russian Federation arrived in Belarus . They landed at the Baranovichi airfield, where two Russian Su-24MR reconnaissance aircraft and at least four Su-30SM fighters are also located. Thus, these are the first and so far the only military helicopters since the withdrawal of the helicopter group of the Russian Armed Forces from Belarus in August 2023. -24MR and at least four Su-30SM fighters of the Russian Air Force, one Mi-24 helicopter and one Mi-8 helicopter of the Russian Air Force. There is also an Il-22PP aircraft of the Air Force of the Russian Federation, — the message of the monitoring group says.
As the source notes, two more fighter jets of the Russian Air Force, which flew in to escort Putin's twin planes, left Belarus together with the dictator's planes on the night of May 25.
