The Rheinmetall concern received an order for the production of mortar shells from one of the NATO countries

Rheinmetall Technology Group received an order from an international NATO client for the production of mortar shells for the armed forces of the alliance partner. The value of the order, placed at the beginning of the third quarter of 2024, is estimated at an average double-digit amount of millions of euros.

RBK-Ukraine reports this with reference to the press service of Rheinmetall.

The company Rheinmetall Expal Munitions S.A.U. will produce hundreds of thousands of mortar shells of various types, with deliveries starting in the summer of 2025 and ending in the summer of 2026.

The order also includes additional product launch services, highlighting Rheinmetall's expertise in the production of modern mortar ammunition.
