The reports about Irena Santor turned out to be true. The artist's fans have been waiting for this for years

Good news for Irena Santor fans!

As the portal „Pomponik” reminds us, Irena Santor decided to withdraw from her stage activity a few years ago. Despite this, on important occasions the artist once again stands in the spotlight. It was the same this time.

„The First Lady of Polish Song”

Irena Santor has been called the “first lady of Polish song” for years. For decades, her songs have been gaining a crowd of loyal fans who not only appreciate the artist for her talent, but also for her extraordinary class. Although she began her career in the Mazowsze band, she quickly decided to pursue a solo career, which she successfully continued for decades.

In 2021, Irena Santor decided to leave the stage, which was a huge blow to the fans of the 90-year-old artist. Although the artist does not give concerts, she sometimes appears on stage on special occasions. This was the case on the occasion of the star's last birthday.

According to „Pomponik”, Irena Santor will once again be able to perform in front of an audience. All thanks to the concerts as part of the jubilee tour, which is to include 14 performances in various cities in Poland.

Irena Santor on stage again

A 10-person band performs on stage with Irena Santor band. The first of the series of concerts took place on Monday, February 10 at the National Forum of Music in Wrocław. „The first lady of Polish song” decided to share her impressions after the concert. She didn't hide

„It was good. As always before a new stage… The difficulty in our concerts is that each stage and each theater is different, so each one has a premiere. But it was good — as always in the theater, of course adrenaline worked. Everyone got together and worked together in the band… Because before the concert there is always such concentration and it gives results– quotes the star's statement from the website „Pomponik”.

The legend of Polish music emphasized that she would very much like the music she leaves behind to survive the next decades. „This is my dowry, as Mr. [Andrzej] Poniedzielski nicely put it, my dowry. My musical dowry for young people” – added the artist.
