The Red Cross says it has great empathy for the Ukrainians

International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) daily “beating on doors in Moscow” and “talks to important people” to promote international humanitarian law.

This was stated by the head of the Red Cross delegation, Jürg Eglin, at a meeting of the Council on Human Rights, Gender Equality and Diversity at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, reports “ Ukrinform”.

It is noted that, according to Eglin, the ICRC does not speak publicly, but “puts a lot of pressure” on on the Russians. He emphasized that the Red Cross works every day, “trying to advance the causes that we all believe in.” According to him, they carry out their work according to the mandate and do not ignore the suffering of Ukrainians.
