The State Bureau of Investigation (SBI) has opened 619 criminal proceedings on high treason, as well as 104 on collaboration activities since the beginning of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, the press service of department reported.

In addition, law enforcement officers are investigating 7 proceedings against accomplices to the aggressor country.

It is noted that 218 defendants received a message of suspicion, 140 were put on the wanted list. Another 1,190 people are being checked for involvement in treason and collaboration activities.

16 proceedings under these articles were sent to the court.

It is reported that the largest number of cases are open in Lugansk, Donetsk, Zaporozhye and Kherson regions.
