This was reported in the office of the Czech President on the evening of May 23.

— The President of the Republic was injured while riding a motorcycle. The injuries are not serious, but require short observation at the Central Military Hospital— the report says.

Local media, citing the speaker of the hospital in Prague Itka Zinke, report that Pavel was examined, but she did not specify the duration of hospitalization.

At the same time, the press secretary President Vit Kolář told Czech television that Pavel will likely remain in hospital for several days.

Police are not investigating the accident because it occurred on a closed sports track.
