The President of North Macedonia announced further military cooperation with Turkey

President of North Macedonia Stevo Pendarovski said he would continue to develop military cooperation with Turkey. He said this on the sidelines of the annual World Economic Forum in Davos, the Turkish news agency Anadolu reports.
He recalled that thanks to the cooperation of the two countries, the North Macedonian military is being trained in Turkish military schools.
< p>At the same time, he did not directly answer the agency's question about the possible purchases of Turkish drones, saying that “over the past year and a half, North Macedonia has taken new measures to purchase some military equipment and weapons in Turkey”.
Pendarovski also noted that Turkey was a supporter of the independence of North Macedonia in the early 1990s, and at present, economic cooperation between the two countries is increasing from year to year.
Earlier Pendarovski said that his country was among the five states that provided the maximum amount of weapons to Ukraine.
He also admitted that he was in first place, with a huge lead over the rest are the United States.
