Bandai Namco, responding to growing demand, opened the first official Tamagotchi store in the UK. This is reported by the BBC.

The updated version of Tamagotchi appeals to young and old alike, offering modern features such as Wi-Fi connectivity and the ability to chat with friends. This makes the game more interactive and helps users to get away from the stress of everyday life. The toy has retained its classic appearance – a bright egg with a screen and buttons, but its functionality has expanded significantly.

Now you can chat with friends, connect via Wi-Fi and download various items, says Priya Jaja, brand manager of Tamagotchi.
