Polish authorities announced the demolition of a monument to Red Army soldiers in Polish Malbork

The monument in honor of the Red Army was dismantled in  the Polish city of Malbork, reports TASS.

"A few months ago we met with  mayor of the city and agreed to its liquidation", — Karol Rabenda, Minister for State Assets Control of the Republic, said.

Earlier, BAGNET reported that  monument to Soviet soldiers destroyed in the Estonian village of Simuna. Unknown people desecrated the monument with the inscription “Eternal memory to the heroes who fell in the battles for the freedom and independence of our country 1941-1945”.

The monument is a large stone cubes. Unknown people scattered them around the park.

Last week, the Estonian government decided to dismantle all Soviet monuments. There are up to 400 of them in the republic.
