The Oscar-winning film “20 days in Mariupol” will be shown in cinemas again

The tape “20 days in Mariupol” became the highest-grossing documentary film in Ukraine. Now even more people will be able to see the legendary tape.

The Ukrainian documentary film “20 Days in Mariupol”, which won the Oscar this year, will be shown again in Ukrainian cinemas from March 14. Read in the article Radio Maximum in which cinemas you can watch the tape.

The film will be available for viewing in “a short period of time in selected cinemas”. Some venues will only have one-off shows on certain days.

In Kyiv, in particular, it will be broadcast in “Oscar”, “Planeta Kino”, “Zhovten”, “Sputnyk” and Multiplex cinemas. Lviv, Dnipro, Kharkiv, Odesa and Vinnytsia are among some of the other cities where the movie will be shown in cinemas.

Soon, the film will also be available on Ukrainian online platforms. The complete list of cities and cinemas is available at the link, it will be updated.

Let us remind you that the film “20 Days in Mariupol” became the first Ukrainian film in history to win an Oscar – Mstislav Chernov's film was awarded in the “Best Documentary” category.

The film also won the British BAFTA Film Award in 2024 in the “Best Documentary” category, and won the Shevchenko Prize for a series of materials about the siege of Mariupol. In addition, the entire team received the Pulitzer Prize.
