The OnePlus Ace 5 smartphone can have ceramic construction

We remind you, at the beginning of this year in China, OnePlus Ace 3 was announced in black, blue and rose-gold colors. All three color variants had a glass back. It seems that whistleblower Wisdom Pikachu may have been talking about the OnePlus Ace 5 in the above Weibo post. It shows that it can be made of ceramic. He also said that the phone will be powered by a battery of around 6,000 mAh. A recent report has already revealed that the Ace 5 will have a 6,000mAh dual-cell battery that supports 100W fast charging. Like its predecessor, it will not have support for wireless charging.

Under the hood OnePlus Ace 5 will be equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. For photography, the device will be equipped with a 50-megapixel triple camera. It is expected to run Android 15 based on OxygenOS 15.

The Ace 5 is said to sport a 6.78-inch OLED panel with curved edges and a micro-curve design. The 8T LTPO panel will provide 1.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. In addition, the device is also reported to feature an alert slider.

The OnePlus Ace 5 is expected to compete with the Redmi K80, which is also expected to feature a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. The K80 series is expected to launch in November this year in China.
