OnePlus is touting its flagship OnePlus 12 as the fastest wireless charging smartphone with its AirVOOC technology of up to 50W. According to the latest leaks, this feature may make it to the next flagship OnePlus 13.
What is known
According to a leak from the well-known insider Digital Chat Station, the device will be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 processor, 6000 mAh battery and support for fast charging 100 W. However, it seems that the OnePlus 13 will not receive support for wireless charging.
The previous OnePlus 12 model had both 100W wired charging and 50W wireless charging. The absence of this feature on the OnePlus 13 may disappoint users. This may be due to the increased battery capacity to 6,000 mAh, which adds weight and takes up more space inside the phone, making it difficult to accommodate the magnetic coil for wireless charging.
The OnePlus 13 is expected to get 6.8 -inch OLED LTPO screen with 2K resolution and an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner. According to rumors, the smartphone will appear on the market in November or December 2024.
