Leak OnePlus 13 reveals redesigned quad-camera module

Rumours about the OnePlus 13  continue to emerge, and a new leak gives us a closer look at its design and system camera We already knew that it would likely have a next-generation Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chip, but this latest information adds more details.

An image that appears to be the OnePlus 13 has been shared by a tipster at Digital Chat Station in a protective case. While the full design of the phone remains under wraps, the image clearly shows the camera module.

Here's what the OnePlus 13 could look like

Unlike previous OnePlus flagships where the camera module blends into the edge of the phone, the OnePlus 13 appears to have a separate area for its cameras.

The leak also reveals some technical details of the camera system. The periscopic telephoto lens is reported to use a more efficient structure similar to that of the iPhone 16 Pro Max.

Similarly, the telephoto lens is said to offer 3x optical zoom along with a slightly larger main sensor. Interestingly, the OnePlus 13 is rumored to use the same image processing algorithms as the Oppo Find X8, which makes sense given that the two companies now share the same parent company.

Although the leaker did not specify the exact camera sensors, previous leaks suggest that the OnePlus 13 will have a 50-megapixel LYT-808 sensor with optical image stabilization for the main camera. It will likely be joined by two LYT-600 sensors for ultra-wide and telephoto shots.

While this leak doesn't reveal anything beyond the camera design, it adds another piece to the OnePlus 13 puzzle. expect an improved camera system with extended telephoto capabilities and high-quality image processing thanks to the rumored influence of the Oppo Find X8.

The OnePlus 13 is expected to be launched in China by the end of October, with a global release in January 2025 year We’ll be sure to keep you updated on all new phone updates.
