On March 22, Leonid Stanislavskyi, the oldest tennis player in the world, celebrated his anniversary. Relatives, friends and sports veterans congratulated the athlete on his 100th birthday.
Leonid spent his birthday on the tennis court of the ITF World Championship. This is reported by Great Tennis of Ukraine.
The native of Kharkiv is a regular participant in the world championships among veterans, a prize-winner of the European doubles championship and a participant in many international tournaments for senior tennis players. Last year, Leonid took part in a charity match for Ukraine, which was held in Melbourne as part of the Australian Open Championship.
The main thing is love for life. I love life! And life for me is tennis. And the secret… Normal lifestyle, normal nutrition. Do not quarrel with anyone, do sports, do morning gymnastics, says the athlete.
During the celebration, the birthday boy was presented with a large white cake with the red inscription “100” and decorated with flowers. The athletes congratulated Leonid and poured him a glass of red wine.
