Branded button for calling the menu, connecting to the Steam Deck, 12 hours of charge and much more. The Japanese company Hori, without an official announcement, prepared to release the Wireless Horipad controller for Steam on the world market. The gamepad, approved by Valve, is equipped with special buttons for calling up the program menu, touch sensors on the joysticks and two connection options: via a USB-A receiver or Bluetooth. At the same time, the device connects both to a PC and to the Steam Deck console. According to the authors, the autonomy of the gamepad with a wireless connection is enough for 12 hours, but you can connect to a USB cable for charging in the middle of the game. Also, the controller supports detailed setting of all buttons, gyroscopes, turbo functions and sensitivity of joints. However, there are also disadvantages, such as the lack of a connector for a headset, trackpad and sound signal packages.
We remind you that now the Wireless Horipad for Steam is sold in the domestic Japanese market. And the device will be released worldwide on December 16 at a price of $59.99. By the way, pre-orders are already open.
