The number of Americans who advocate increasing military assistance to Ukraine has increased

Almost a quarter of Americans believe that that the United States does not provide enough military assistance to Ukraine – this share has increased compared to November last year.

According to a Pew Research Center poll, 24% of Americans believe that the United States is not providing enough assistance to Ukraine, compared with 18% in November 2023, when pollsters last time this question was asked.

However, more Americans (31%) believe the United States provides too much aid, while 25% believe it provides enough assistance. p>

USA – The only place among those surveyed where there is significant ideological disagreement on this issue: 51% of Americans who identify as right-wing believe that the United States has given too much support to Ukraine, compared with 13% of those who are left-leaning.

In addition to the United States, a similar survey was also conducted in Hungary, Turkey and Poland.

In Hungary and Turkey, the most widespread opinion is that their countries provide Ukraine with approximately sufficient support (61% and 46%, respectively).

In Poland, opinions are divided: almost equal shares of respondents believe that their country provides Ukraine with a lot (44%) or enough (45%) assistance. Only 6% believe that Poland does not provide enough assistance to Ukraine.
