The document was signed by the NATO Support and Support (NSPA) in Luxembourg. It envisages the creation of a joint platform for maintenance, repair and modernization of NSM missiles, which will reduce costs and provide long -term support for this system.

< p >According to the agreement, other countries that already have NSM in service or plan to buy these missiles may join the partnership. Among the potential participants & mdash; The Netherlands, Belgium, Denmark and the United Kingdom. Negotiations with the Netherlands and Belgium are already ongoing.

< P > Naval Strike Missile (NSM) & mdash; It is a highly accurate anti -ship missile, developed by the Norwegian company Kongsberg Defense & AMP; Aerospace. It is designed to defeat surface ships and land targets at a range up to 250 km. Due to the application of stealth technologies, NSM has reduced radar visibility, and its autonomous infrared heading system allows you to effectively identify and impress goals even in difficult combat conditions.

< P > The rocket has a weight of about 400 kg, a length of 4 m and a fighting part of 120 kg with a programmable blast. It is able to perform low -height maneuvers, bending the terrain and evading the enemy air defense systems. NSM is used by several countries and can start both ships and ground platforms. High accuracy, autonomy and difficulty for intercepting make it an effective weapon against modern marine threats.

< P > The Partnership of Norway and Germany demonstrates the desire of the Allies to co -use advanced weapons and ensure their effectiveness throughout the life cycle. Such a model of cooperation can be an example for other programs that Norway works together with European partners.
