Nightmare of the residents of one of the blocks in Olsztyn. Seniors prepared a nightmare for them.

As reported by the portal „Fakt”, the residents of one of the skyscrapers on Barcza Street in Olsztyn are facing a serious problem. Their lives have turned into a nightmare due to the stench that hangs over the entire block. It's all because of an elderly couple living in one of the apartments. The seniors haven't taken out the waste from their apartments for years. The unpleasant smell is not the only problem. Equally bothersome are the cockroaches that escape from their apartment and get into other apartments.

Problematic neighbors in one of the blocks of flats in Olsztyn

The seniors' neighbors admit that they were among the first tenants in the block and that their presence was a nuisance from the very beginning. They revealed that the couple kept rabbits and chickens in the house. The rooster would wake up all the residents by crowing, and at 4 a.m. as early as today. As it turns out, this was just the beginning of the problems that the tenants are now struggling with.

As the couple got older, they began to suffer from a disorder that involved carrying garbage home. And although the cooperative puts up a container every few months and takes the collected waste to the dump, the couple still takes it back.

According to the residents of the ill-fated block, the couple made tunnels between the collected waste in the apartment. The employee who reads them has trouble reaching the meters. As it turns out, the couple doesn't even throw away used toilet paper because they save on water. They put it in bags and leave it at home.

Neighbors are afraid for their own lives

One of the women living in the couple's troublesome neighborhood admitted that she doesn't even hang her laundry on the balcony. It wouldn't make sense, because rubbish falls out of the seniors' apartment, which could stain washed clothes.

„They heat themselves with gas and when I go to sleep, I really don't know if I'll wake up in this world. It's become dangerous— the woman added in an interview with „Fakt”. The entire block is also dealing with cockroaches, which come out of the littered apartment and spread everywhere.

The couple pays their bills regularly, which is why the cooperative's hands are tied. Representatives of the cooperative told the daily that they had informed both the Municipal Social Welfare Centre and the sanitary inspection office about the whole matter. The employees of the cooperative regularly try to conduct on-site inspections of the apartment, but unfortunately the spouses do not want to let them in.
