New solar panels provide 90% output power and have a 30-year warranty

Photocells have several output power options — from 620 W to 640 W. The energy conversion efficiency of the devices ranges from 22.20% to 22.92%.

Silfab Solar from Toronto, Canada has introduced the new Silfab Utility NTC 620-640 XL panel — n-type bilateral module. It is used to increase the efficiency and output power of large solar installations, writes Interesting Engineering.

“Silfab Utility NTC double-sided panels use new generation N-type solar cells and have an efficiency level of almost 23%” — the company reported.

It is noteworthy that Silfab Utility NTC 620-640 XL double-sided panels are distinguished by a high efficiency rating. These modules can produce more energy per square foot than many standard solar panels.

They help maximize energy production in large solar farms and utility-scale projects and are equipped with advanced shading technology. They will work well even if part of the panel is shaded or in low light conditions.

This is critical for large solar installations that may be subject to shading from clouds or nearby structures. In addition, this variety of panels allows Silfab to customize solar panels to meet specific energy needs.

“Silfab Utility NTC boasts a significantly higher level of efficiency than standard traditional solar panels, thanks to a better LCOE (normalized cost of electricity) that requires fewer solar panels and provides unmatched efficiency and more electricity generation over the lifetime of the solar system,” — Silfab Solar claims.

As for the energy conversion efficiency of the devices, it ranges from 22.20% to 22.92%, and the temperature coefficient is -0.29%/°C, which guarantees high performance in various weather conditions.

In terms of durability, the panels are durable and IP68 rated, providing excellent protection against dust and water. They also feature a 3.2mm anti-reflective front glass that reduces light reflection, allowing more sunlight to reach the solar cells and generate more energy.

The clear back layer lets sunlight in from both sides, improving energy capture , especially in configurations where light bounces off the ground or adjacent surfaces. They also have a substantial warranty. — the company claims.

The company continues to expand its production, building a new plant that will provide the company with 1 GW of cell production capacity in the domestic market and an additional 1.3 GW of module production capacity in the US.
