The new iPad Air will receive an M3 processor

It was previously speculated that Apple could equip the new iPad Air with an M4 chip.

According to a leak published by insider Evan Blass, the new iPad Air models will get an M3 processor, not an M4, as previously assumed.

The source code image mentions the unannounced 11-inch and 13-inch iPad Air models, as well as the iPad 11. The source of the information does not specify, but Blass has a good reputation in the field leaks

As for the iPad 11, the leak does not specify which chip will be used. However, Bloomberg's Mark Gurman previously reported that the device will be equipped with an A17 Pro chip and 8 GB of RAM to support Apple Intelligence at the basic level.

The new iPad Air and iPad 11 models are expected to be introduced in the spring of 2025. Along with them, Apple plans to release an updated version of the iPhone SE 4 — the smartphone is also mentioned in Blass' leak.

Before that, Apple may introduce a MacBook Air on M4 in January-February 2025.
