The new e-paper display does not require a battery and is powered

The Digital View company presented a new E Ink display that does not require a battery, but is powered wirelessly by a Wi-Charge module. This is reported by Digital View.

The display is equipped with built-in Wi-Fi to receive updates remotely, and a Wi-Charge module mounted on the ceiling provides power for several such displays at the same time. It is known that the total power consumption of each display is about 500 mW for Wi-Fi operation, receiving images and information. In standby mode, the device consumes much less energy.

The display has a size of 13.3 inches, color technology E Ink Spectra 6 with a resolution of 1200×1600 pixels and good visibility in bright lighting conditions.

The body of the monitor is made of aluminum, and the connection is made via Wi-Fi, Bluetooth or USB-C.

The price of this solution is not disclosed. However, companies can contact the developers for more detailed information.
