The network reported the first serious problem of the iPhone 16 Pro smartphone

Some iPhone 16 Pro owners complain that their new devices cannot respond correctly to touch screen gestures< /strong>

Owners of the new iPhone 16 Pro, which can already be ordered in Ukraine, report problems with the touch screen, in particular the so-called “dead spots”. Some users say that the new phone does not respond to touches due to a software bug in iOS 18. It causes the touch rejection algorithm to be disabled, causing the screen to ignore touches for a short time.

This is reported by  MacWorld. The problem is likely related to the new camera control feature. When the user accidentally touches the area near the button, it can cause the screen to lock. Not all users face this problem. However, those who have experienced it say that the “dead spots” appear in different parts of the screen.

One user on Reddit pointed out that the “dead spot” problem mainly occurs around the camera control area.  Other users say that “dead spots” appear on different parts of the screen, in particular on the left side of the phone. This suggests that the issue may be broader than just the specific area of the camera controls.

This may be due to the iPhone 16 Pro's thin bezels, which increase skin-to-skin contact with the active screen. Since this is a software issue, it can be fixed in an iOS update. However, Apple does not admit that there are problems with the smartphone.
