The most popular electric cars of August: an unexpected rating

BYD Song Plus/Elcars < p>In August 2024, 6,445 battery-powered vehicles (BEVs) were added to the Ukrainian fleet.

This is 68% more than in August last year. The share of new cars in BEV registrations, as last year, was 18%. This is reported on the UkrAvtoprom platform.

The bulk of electric vehicles registered for the month were passenger cars – 6302 units. (new – 1159 units, used – 5143 units). Among 143 commercial electric cars, only 5 cars were new.

The TOP-5 new electric cars of the month were:

1. BYD Song Plus – 174 units;

2. HONDA M-NV – 169 units;

3. VOLKSWAGEN ID.4 – 147 units;

4. ZEEKR 001 – 107 units;

5. NISSAN Ariya – 83 units.

TOP-5 first-time used electric cars registered in Ukraine:

1. NISSAN Leaf – 658 units;

2. TESLA Model Y – 588 units;

3. TESLA Model 3 – 561 units;

4. HYUNDAI Kona – 308 units;

5. VOLKSWAGEN e-Golf – 289 units.

Since the beginning of the year, more than 35.6 thousand units have completed their first registration in Ukraine. vehicles on battery power sources, of which: 20% new and 80% used.
