The American magazine Time published the annual list of the 100 most influential people in the world. The “Leaders” category in the publication's list was headed by Yulia Navalna, the wife of the late Russian opposition figure.

The head of OP Andriy Yermak was included in the list in the “Leaders” category, and the “Artists” category was headed by singer Dua Lipa. This is stated on the publication's page.

In this year's Time rating, there are five categories – “Leaders”, “Titans”, “Idols”, “Artists” and “Innovators”.

Each of the categories was headed by:

  • “Artists” – British singer Dua Lipa. The choice is explained by the significant influence of the singer on modern culture.
  • “Idols” – American singer, actress and animal rights defender Taraji Henson. She was called “truthful and authentic”, and was also noted for the fact that she is not afraid to stand up for what she believes in.
  • “Leaders” – public figure Yulia Navalna . Navalny was called a “symbol of democratic values” and was also recognized for condemning the lies and brutality of the Russian government.
  • “Innovators” – American entrepreneur of Taiwanese origin, co-founder of Nvidia Jensen Huang .
  • “Titans”– American football player Patrick Mahomes. In particular, he was recognized for his victories in the Super Cup. Sportscaster Alex Rodriguez believes Mahomes has transcended the game of football to become one of the most revered athletes of all time, both on and off the field.

The entire list of the 100 most influential people of the year can be viewed at the link. She recalled how the woman spoke at the Munich Security Conference – it happened after the news of her husband's death. Harris noted that the Russian woman “with great courage denounced the lies and cruelty of the Russian authorities”.

Later that day we met and talked about her children and what her family was thinking about the fate of not only her husband but also his business. Fortunately, Yulia Navalna has now assumed the role of a leader on the world stage. Navalny vowed to continue her husband's fight for justice and the rule of law, giving new hope to those fighting corruption and a free, democratic Russia. And at the same time, she demonstrates exceptional dedication and strength, Kamala said in a statement. From that day in Munich, Navalny became not only a symbol of democratic values, but also a courageous fighter for them. The United States supports her – and all those who fight for freedom and democracy.

In our country, the attitude towards Navalny and his wife is rather ambiguous. In 2014, the politician declared that “Crimea is not a sandwich” to be given back to Ukraine after the annexation, and the elected official of the well-known opposition was criticized for expressing only condemnation of Putin, but did not oppose the war in Ukraine and did not condemn the crimes of the Russian army .

Let us remind you that in 2022, Volodymyr Zelenskyi, the former commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhnyi, as well as the editor-in-chief of “Ukrainian Pravda” Sevgil Musaeva were included in TIME's list of the most influential people.

In 2023, First Lady Olena Zelenska and Nobel Peace Prize laureate Oleksandra Matviychuk entered the rating.
