FKU “Center for Economic and Service Support of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Bashkiria” filed a claim for damages for the work of the police during the rally on January 23 of this year to the ex-coordinator of Navalny’s headquarters in Ufa (the headquarters are recognized as extremist organizations and banned in Russia) Lilia Chanysheva and activists Olga Komleva and Ilgam Yanberdin. The amount of the claim is 130.3 thousand rubles, of which 44.8 thousand rubles are compensation for overtime work of 31 employees of the Center for Economic and Service Support and 85.5 thousand rubles are expenses for fuel and lubricants for 89 cars.

This is the third lawsuit from the regional ministry against activists. In early July, it became known that the Ministry of Internal Affairs was asking to collect 1.1 million rubles from activist Olga Komleva. compensation for overtime work of 471 police officers during the January 31 rally. The case is being considered in the Demsky District Court of Ufa. Komleva told Kommersant that there have already been two preliminary sessions on the claim, one more is scheduled for August 18. The court cannot proceed to the consideration of the case on the merits, since “the Ministry of Internal Affairs does not bring evidence of the calculation of compensation,” she explained. Another lawsuit from the ministry was filed with the Kirovsky District Court of Ufa. Lilia Chanysheva, Olga Komleva and Ilgam Yanberdin are also claimants.
