The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of totalitarian Belarus responded to the murder of a Polish border guard: unnecessary politicization of a very specific issue

Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus promised to consider a note from Poland demanding the extradition of a migrant who fatally wounded a Polish soldier on the border between the two countries.

As European Pravda writes, this was stated by the official representative of the Belarusian Foreign Ministry Anatoly Glaz, his video commentary was published by the Belarusian information dump BELTA.

The Belarusian Foreign Ministry confirmed receipt of the note from Warsaw. It will be considered “taking into account all the circumstances.”

“I sincerely sympathize with the relatives and friends of the deceased and, of course, it is necessary to restore normal border contacts so that such tragedies do not happen,” said Anatoly Glaz.

The representative of the Belarusian Foreign Ministry noted that Belarus is ready to restore cooperation in the law enforcement sphere, but emphasized that “this is a two-way street.”

“Therefore, such interaction can only be restored in full. Without this, such public notes – This is not a way to systematically solve the problem, but an unnecessary politicization of a very specific issue, an attempt to justify oneself to one’s own public opinion and shift responsibility.

Moreover, in recent years this, unfortunately, is far from the only case of the death of Polish military personnel border. However, for some reason the Polish leadership does not remember those incidents so publicly,” – Glaz said.

On Thursday, June 6, it became known that a border guard died in Poland, who was stabbed near the village of Dubichi Tserkovnye when migrants tried to break out of the territory of Belarus.

After that Charge d'Affaires of Belarus Alexei Ponkratenko was summoned to the Polish Foreign Ministry.

Warsaw demanded an end to provocations on the Polish-Belarusian border and the organization of migration flows, as well – extradite a murder suspect.
