MOSCOW (Reuters) – Federal treasury revenues from additional income tax (APT) in 2021 will grow to 636.7 billion rubles, which is 4.4 times more than this year, according to the explanatory note to the draft budget.
In the next two years, budget revenues from personal income tax will no longer grow at such a pace – in 2022 they will increase by 16.2% compared to the previous year to 740.1 billion rubles, in 2023 – by 6.5% to 788.0 billion rubles …
The projected sharp increase in revenues in 2021 is mainly due to the adjustment of the tax parameters to compensate for the losses of the budget of the last year and the transfer of depleted fields to the tax regime.
The State Duma on Wednesday adopted in the final third reading the amendments to the Tax Code on revising the parameters of personal income tax.
Deputy Finance Minister Alexei Sazanov called the personal income tax regime introduced in Russia last year, which deprived the budget of 213 billion rubles, the biggest mistake of his career.
