The Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation approved the decision to issue a new floater with a maturity of up to 750 billion rubles in 2034. From IFX

The Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation from 7 December will offer at auctions a new issue of OFZ-PK 29023 in the amount of up to 750 billion rubles with maturity in August 2034, the ministry said.

The bonds have 47 quarterly coupon periods. The first coupon payment date is March 8, 2023. Coupon yield is calculated based on the average value of RUONIA rates for the current coupon period with a time lag of seven calendar days.

Earlier, on November 16, the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation already offered an OFZ-PK issue in the amount of 750 billion rubles for placement. Securities were sold for a total of 750 billion rubles at face value, with demand of 904.365 billion rubles. Thus, the department immediately placed the entire volume of this issue at one auction, which was new and had not been offered to the market before. The weighted average price at the auction was 96.3401% of the face value, the cut-off price was set at 96.27% of the face value.

Series 29022 bonds maturing on July 20, 2033 have 42 quarterly coupon periods and the first coupon period – 77 days, the date of payment of the 1st coupon is February 1, 2023.
