The Ministry of Energy said when it is better to charge gadgets

Citizens can help energy companies by frugal electricity consumption.

The Ministry of Energy informed about this and gave some advice.

< p>“Energy engineers are doing everything possible to balance the energy system – restoration work on power generation and distribution facilities damaged by Russia is being carried out around the clock,” the Ministry of Energy reported.

Consumers were advised:

to refuse use of a boiler, if the apartment has a centralized hot water supply;

minimize the use of electric radiators, convectors and “warm floors”;

minimize the use of an electric kettle and microwave oven in the presence of a gas stove. If the stove is electric, choose the minimum power modes, especially during peak hours. An induction stove consumes less electricity due to fast heating and the principle of operation than a conventional infrared;

when buying new household appliances (washing machines, hobs and ovens, refrigerators), you must pay attention to the energy efficiency class. The optimal choice is A+-A+++. The difference in consumption between category A and B equipment can be 20-25%, with category C – up to 50%;

change old incandescent lamps to modern LED lamps – in this way, on lighting, consumption can be reduced in 10 times (10-12 W vs. 100 W). Install rechargeable lights that respond to movement to move around the apartment in the dark, without turning on the general lighting;

turn off all chargers, extension cords from sockets;

connect the two-tariff electricity metering service . It is better to load laundry, put gadgets and storage devices on recharging during the night tariff. This will reduce the load on the network during peak consumption hours and allow savings, the Ministry of Energy reported.
