Ministry of Education of Ukraine opened a website for filing complaints in case of bullying in schools

School/unsplash < p>According to the department, more than half of Ukrainian students faced bullying in educational institutions. However, not everyone turns to parents or teachers for help.

According to the agency's press service, it is now possible to report bullying on the website by filling out a short questionnaire on the AICOM website after pre-registration.

Both children and parents can fill out a short questionnaire and send an electronic complaint. In the future, the issue will be dealt with by the school management and, if necessary, the police.

According to research by the Ministry of Education and Culture, more than 53% of students have experienced bullying at school, but only half of them have reported it to their parents or teachers Most often, children are afraid to talk about problems due to fear of condemnation or worsening of the situation, – the department notes.

How to report bullying at school?

1. Go to the AICOM website and click the “Report bullying” button.

2. Sign up or sign in to an existing account.

200% Deposit Bonus up to €3,000 180% First Deposit Bonus up to $20,000

3. Fill out a short questionnaire. The application can be submitted anonymously or you can specify your data.

4. Click the “Continue” button and confirm the statement.

The MES said that if the statement is created by a child, he can file a complaint anonymously. If it is done by parents or legal representatives, then there is no such possibility.

Anonymous statements can be considered only at the school level, but if you feel that the situation requires the involvement of police representatives, then it is better to mention information that can help the school and the police contact you and help resolve the situation effectively, – the ministry said.

After the application was sent, it will be received by the school director. He must react to it within a day: convene a special commission where this case will be discussed and further actions will be determined for the parties of bullying in the classroom where such an incident occurred. If necessary, they can also involve social workers, law enforcement officers or other services.

The MES added that information about the complaint will not be known to anyone except the director and police representatives. They, in turn, are obliged to act only in the interests of the child and will not be able to inform others of personal information without an urgent need.
