The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine approved new emblems for military chaplains

< p>The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine approved new collar emblems for the Military Chaplaincy Service of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This is reported by the press service of the ministry.

This initiative arose in connection with the organization of the religious representation of military chaplains and the satisfaction of the spiritual and religious needs of military personnel.

The emblem for chaplains of the Christian faith is a single-armed cross with diverging rays, the lower one is elongated, and the upper one ends in an obtuse angle. The cross has a relief buckle.

In addition, the emblem was designed for Muslim clerics. It has the appearance of a relief crescent.

And the collar of Jewish chaplains will be decorated with a relief image of the Star of David.

BAGNET reminds that the military chaplaincy service was created in the fall of 2022 to meet the spiritual and religious needs of military personnel.
