German Defense Minister Christina Lambrecht said that none of the German partners had sent Western-style battle tanks to the Ukrainian army, so Germany, for its part, does not want to take individual steps. She said this in an interview with the editorial group of Funke.

"We do not want to take single steps and we will make decisions on such issues only upon coordination with partners. So far, no other country has sent Western-style battle tanks, — Lambrecht noted.

Kyiv is asking Berlin to send offensive weapons to the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), but Germany has repeatedly said that they will not make such decisions alone.

Earlier, Christina Lambrecht said that Germany had reached the limit of its capabilities in supplying Ukraine with weapons from the stocks of the country's Armed Forces. According to her, the FRG redistribution of the Ukrainian army “incredibly much” weapons from stocks of the Bundeswehr.
