The Ministry of Defense has approved the use of a Ukrainian-made unmanned aviation complex

The Ministry of Defense has codified and approved for use in the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine a new Ukrainian-made unmanned aviation complex called Gromylo.

This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.

The complex can be used to destroy enemy manpower, military equipment and field shelters.

FPV drones of the Gromylo complex are equipped with a frame made of composite materials. Drones have relatively powerful engines that allow them to carry a warhead over a long distance. The complex can be used both day and night.

Also, the complex's aircraft are not very vulnerable to the effects of enemy electronic warfare.

On January 29, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine began licensed production of modern FPV drones on the basis of one of the state-owned enterprises.

On December 21, 2024, the Institute for the Study of War reported that Ukraine continues to improve the production of drones. On December 20, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced the completion of tests of fiber-optic UAVs, which will be more resistant to electronic warfare interference.
