The Ministry of Defense codified the all-terrain vehicle "Ravlyk"

The Ministry of Defense codified and allowed the Ukrainian-made universal mobile platform “Ravlyk” to be operated in the troops.

The press service of the defense department reported this on its social networks.

This ground robotic complex (GRC) – completely Ukrainian development.

Features of the ground robotic complex:

  • Mobility: easily transported on a trailer.
  • Load capacity: carries several hundred kilograms of cargo or an almost two-ton trailer.
  • Reliability: dust- and moisture-proof platform, works in frost and heat.
  • Quiet movement: the electric motor and all-terrain tires ensure noiselessness.

«Thanks to the design features and the implementation of modern engineering solutions, «Snail» easily overcomes off-road, swampy, sandy embankments, narrow ditches and low vertical obstacles. This robot can be used as a universal platform for performing a wide range of tasks», – said Deputy Minister of Defense Dmitry Klimenkov.

The declared load capacity of the «Snail» is 200 kg, but back in March 2024, when Military filmed a story about testing ground drones, the developers talked about the possibility of a larger load over shorter distances.

The range over rough terrain – 20-25 km. Speed on public roads – 6.5 km/h, on dirt – up to 5 km/h.

The power of such a ground robotic complex – 6 kW, the drive for each of the 6 wheels is independent.

«Snail» has two types of remote control: from a ground station and from a remote control.
