Inclusion in the Pentagon list is a signal for American companies to conduct business with these businesses. DJI's lawsuit alleges that the company has already lost business deals and is now unable to enter into contracts with federal agencies.

For 16 months, DJI waited for an explanation or dialogue with the Pentagon, but nothing happened. Therefore, the company decided to go to court.
