The main features of the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra smartphone

Authoritative Twitter insider Ice Universe revealed a number of features of the Galaxy S25 Ultra. Apparently, Samsung's top flagship will seriously change.

If the reports are true, the new product will have a case with rounded corners – the design of the devices will resemble the Galaxy Note 7 of 2016. Thanks to this, the smartphone will be more convenient to use – it will not dig into your hand.

In addition, the insider said that the Galaxy S25 Ultra will be the thinnest smartphone in the Galaxy Ultra series. The thickness of the device case will be only 8.4 mm. For comparison: in S21, 22 and 23 Ultra, this indicator was equal to 8.9 mm, and in S24 Ultra – 8.6 mm.

There are still rumors that the Galaxy S25 smartphones will be equipped with processors from MediaTek instead of Qualcomm. The fact is that Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 promises to be the brand's most expensive chipset in history, and Samsung wants to switch to more affordable processors to keep the price of its flagships down. Such a decision is unlikely to affect performance, but it would help avoid price increases.

Early reports suggested that Samsung is noticeably "pumping" cameras in the Galaxy S25 Ultra. The company will finally get rid of the 10 and 12 megapixel sensors, increasing the resolution to 50 megapixels.

Samsung is expected to introduce the new flagship series in January 2025 and by then the Korean brand plans to release the Galaxy S24 FE. It will receive the design and filling from this year's top Galaxy models, but it will cost significantly less.

For 2024, Samsung has many more new products planned. In July, a new generation of complex smartphones will be announced, a new watch to compete with Apple Watch Ultra and Galaxy Ring – debut smart ring. And for the fall, the company has planned the release of two inexpensive smartphones with a flexible display.
