The Lord of the Rings: New Grand Trailer for The Rings of Power

The Amazon show promises a great show.
Elves, Dwarves, Hobbits, Humans, Orcs, a great threat hanging over the world. The Rings of Power is set in the Second Age, thousands of years before the Lord of the Rings adapted by Peter Jackson for the cinema, but we will not really be out of place in front of the Prime Video series, announced as the most expensive in the history of the small screen, with a potential budget of 200 million dollars per season.
After the last teaser unveiled a few days ago by Amazon, the long trailer for Rings of Powerpromises an epic show (available in VF and VO below), with its grandiose images, but remains discreet about the details of its plot. To see Sauron's new look, you will have to wait. But his shadow seems to hover over this trailer where Galadriel (Morfydd Clark) retorts to Elrond (Robert Aramayo), who implores him to “hang up his sword“: “You didn't see this I've seen“.
The Harfoots (a species of Hobbits never before seen on screen) also think “to be safe“… But a new war between good and evil is brewing, and the various inhabitants of the Earth of the Middle are in the same boat: “It will not only be the end of our people, but of all peoples“, warns the High Elf King Gil-galad (Benjamin Walker). “The past is dead“, says Halbrand (a human character created for the series). “We either move on or we die with it“.
The Rings of Power will be launched on September 2 on Amazon Prime Video, at the rate of one episode per week. The first two are directed by Juan Antonio Bayona (The Impossible, Jurassic World 2).
